Writer Goda Andrijauskaitė has created a cozy, rhyming story inspired by the stories she shared with her son on cold winter afternoons. The author has combined these moments with knowledge of pedagogy and psychology to create a book that encourages children to discover the joy of reading and subtly guides parents on how to develop their little ones' literacy skills.
The illustrations by Simonas Kinderis (12 years old) add a special charm. He once resisted drawing, but in collaboration with illustrator Živilė Kairytė, he revealed his talent and added warmth and liveliness to the story.
